冰鲜乳制品纸浆模塑包装的挑战和机遇

二氧化硅制成的阻隔涂层Qwarzo

Qwarzo 是一种由二氧化硅制成的阻隔涂层,可用于替代纸张、纺织品和金属上的塑料和全氟辛烷磺酸,目前已得到联合利华和 Innocent 等品牌的认可。

Qwarzo 称,涂有其产品的产品符合食品接触材料的规定,因为它们具有 “高度耐热 “性、耐寒性、耐水性、耐油性、耐蒸气性、耐化学性和耐破损性,而且无味、不可见、无异味。

该公司的产品可以利用现有的生产线或集成的定制机器进行生产。在潜在应用方面,该涂层可用于为纸杯、餐具、盘子、吸管、搅拌器及其他食品和饮料容器提供防潮防油屏障。

Qwarzo 声称,这种涂层可以帮助产品保持其可回收和可堆肥的特性。该产品可用于各种形式,如卷筒和片材涂层、纸张模切和热成型,也可用于纸张以外的各种材料。

重要的是,联合利华表示,新勺子完全可回收和堆肥,同时还能防水和防油脂。

Related to the features and functions of the fiber lids, below are documents you may need to have from the manufacturer(s) to support your purchase:

  1. Drawing and BOM to tell you the specs and the composition of the lid.
  2. Measurement data include OD, ID, and weight.
  3. Fit test report shows expected fitness with your cups, by following up on the manufacturer’s procedures or your own toolkit, back-and-forth tests may needed depending on your requirements, tooling and machine conditions, supplier’s quality level, and management & communication level.
  4. Function test report if have.
  5. The third-party’s food safety report, but test items and corresponding limited content vary with the brand’s requirements and countries/districts’ regulations.

What does a typical fiber cup lid look like?

This is a fiber lid made by blended bagasse and wooden fiber through hot press technology:

  1. It has a smooth outside and a mesh pattern internal side.
  2. There is a specially designed convex ribbon inside the hem of the lid to lock the brim of the paper cup for safety.
  3. A stadium-shaped sip hole on the top of the lid.
  4. A vent hole opposite the sip hole for air exchange during drinking.
  5. A triangle-shape sinking area in the middle of the top panel of the lid for holding the occasionally spilled-out beverage and enhancing the strength of the lid. Caution texts, recycling icons, and brand logos can be put here for identification.
